Theron and Esther have been joyfully married since June 2021 and are the glad parents of their sons, Israel and Judah. They have another child in heaven, Zion, whom they lost through miscarriage. They host the Worth the Wait podcast. Theron St. John serves as a teacher and biblical counselor with Schaumburg Christian School and as a staff counselor and teaching assistant for Biblical Counseling Center at their Schaumburg, Illinois location. Esther also serves at Biblical Counseling Center as the Spanish Training Program Coordinator and as an Online Teaching Assistant for Southern Seminary. Both Theron and Esther are certified as counselors through ACBC. Theron has previously worked in both the local church as an Associate Pastor and in the academy as an Adjunct Professor at a Bible college in central Indiana. He is currently pursuing his Doctor of Educational Ministry in Biblical Counseling with Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has also written for sites such as The Rebelution and Una Voz Conservadora en Medio del Caos. Esther previously served on staff with Highview Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky as Women’s Ministry Director and Bi-Lingual Biblical Counselor. Esther’s writings have been featured on Biblical Counseling Coalition and Lifeway Mujeres.
