As we turn the calendar to January yet again, so many are making and breaking resolutions. Furthermore, these resolutions seem to deal with weight loss and exercising more. But what about biblical resolutions? How can we look to God’s Word and resolve to live in light of that? I had the privilege of sharing 2 Corinthians 5:11-21 and showing how this passage provides us with such an answer. Below you will find audio of that sermon as well as reflection questions to apply to your life in 2015 and beyond. Let’s make a gospel impact on the world as the gospel has made an impact in our lives!
- How can you intentionally let the gospel impact your motives in 2015? What will that look like in your relationships?
- Which area do you need to meditate on most heading into the new year: a new perspective, a new creation, or new roles? How does this affect how you approach ministry in 2015?
- What message have you been sharing with those around you? Has it been the gospel or something else?
- Make it your resolve to speak, share, and show the gospel message to those around you in 2015.
I resolve to speak and share the gospel with family, friends, and all those around me in 2015. I commit to intentionally build relationships with people so that they may know and grow in Christ.
